Floating Cottages

anchored just off Escalante's Coast

Floating cottages built for a slow day on the water — swimming, grilling, karaoke, doing absolutely nothing in particular. We're building a directory of Escalante's floating cottages, and we want yours in it.

Why it's here

An idle afternoon, anchored offshore

Floating cottages have become one of the easiest ways to spend a day on the coast — no boat rental, no hike, just a platform, a ladder into the water, and however long you feel like staying out there. This page is Escalante's directory of them, owner by owner — more are added as their photos and details come in.

Good to know: Most cottages tow out to a sandbar — Panansalan, Paliswihan, or Pamaawan. Pick whichever you like; all three now cost the same.
